Footnotes Call for Articles

The NMRT Footnotes Committee is still seeking articles and reviews for the February 2013 issue. The submission deadline for feature articles, book and website reviews has been extended to Friday, January 25th. We would also love to have more Midwinter recaps.

Headed to Seattle for the ALA Midwinter Meeting?
We especially need members to write article recaps of NMRT events. Find the NMRT schedule here (or copy and paste http://www.nmrt.ala.org/notes/?p=204). If you are planning to attend any of these events, please consider doing a recap.

Feature Articles
Footnotes can always use more feature articles. If you want to share a project, aspect of your job or interest, we want your article! Footnotes is a great opportunity to get your feet wet with professional writing.

Book and Website Reviews
Recently read a book that would appeal to other new librarians and want to share your thoughts? Have a favorite website or set of web resources for a particular topic? Consider writing a book or website review!

Interested in Submitting?
Please review the Submission guidelines  on the Footnotes webpage for more ideas and examples from past issues, as well as instructions for formatting and submitting your article.

Please email Editor Heidi Steiner at hmsteiner@gmail.com if you are interested in writing an article, book review, Web site review, or a piece on Midwinter by Friday, January 11th.

Feature articles and reviews will be due by January 25th. Midwinter authors will have until February 6th.
