3M\/NMRT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANT<\/strong>

\nWe are\u00a0excited to announce that members of ALA’s New Members Round Table (NMRT) can apply to receive a grant, sponsored by 3M Library Systems, which will cover expenses to attend the ALA Annual Conference, June 21 \u2013 26, 2012 in Anaheim, CA.<\/p>\n

Are you looking for funds to help pay for your trip to ALA\u2019s 2012 Annual Conference in Anaheim?<\/p>\n

Apply by Monday, December 12, 2011 for the NMRT Shirley Olofson Memorial Award and you may receive a $1000 check to help defray the cost of attendance!<\/p>\n

Applicants must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Be a member of ALA and NMRT<\/li>\n
  2. Be active in the library profession<\/li>\n
  3. Show promise for activity in the area of professional development<\/li>\n
  4. Have a valid financial need<\/li>\n
  5. Have attended no more than five ALA annual conferences<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
