NMRT is pleased to sponsor Janel White for the 2010 Emerging Leaders program.<\/p>\n
The sponsorship consists of $1000 towards the costs of attending the 2010 Midwinter Meeting in Boston and the 2010 Annual Conference in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n
Janel White works at National Public Radio (NPR) in their Broadcast Library.\u00a0 She catalogs the radio shows that NPR produces and provides audio reference services for the staff.\u00a0 Janel received her MLS from Drexel University in December 2005. \u00a0Since then she has been a member of ALA & NMRT, and has been active on multiple NMRT committees. Janel currently is the 2009-2010 chair of the NMRT Archives Committee, the 2009-2010 chair of the NMRT President\u2019s Program Committee and member of the 2009-2010 Local Arrangements Committee. \u00a0 Outside of work, Janel sings in a local choir, reads books and plays tennis.<\/p>\n
