NMRT members, current LIS students, and recent graduates are encouraged to submit manuscripts for consideration.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>Endnotes<\/em> is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that publishes articles of interest to early career librarians, LIS students, and newer members of the Association.? Articles published in <em>Endnotes<\/em> are indexed in Library &amp; Information Science Source.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Topics that might be appropriate for <em>Endnotes<\/em> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Training and mentoring<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Job searching or hiring<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Developing leadership and management skills<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Library instruction and assessment<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Academic librarian responsibilities: hiring, promotion, and tenure<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Developing new collections or services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Those interested in discussing an article idea are encouraged to contact the Editors at <a href=\"mailto:nmrtendnotesjournal@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\">nmrtendnotesjournal@gmail.com<\/a> to determine if the proposal fits the publication?s scope.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Articles should range from 2,000 ? 4,000 words and present original research, practitioner-based research, and\/or case studies relevant to LIS students and new library professionals. Submissions are accepted throughout the year, but articles received by <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_133221186\"><span class=\"aQJ\">February 15, 2017<\/span><\/span> ?will receive guaranteed consideration for the Spring 2017 issue.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>Endnotes<\/em> also offers book and media reviews. Reviews range from 300 ? 500 words. Those interested in reviewing are encouraged to contact the Editors at <a href=\"mailto:nmrtendnotesjournal@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\">nmrtendnotesjournal@gmail.com<\/a> to be included on the reviewers? mailing list.
