The purpose of the award is to increase?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">student?<\/span>involvement in ALA through?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">chapters<\/span>, and to recognize future leaders in the profession. The?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Chapter<\/span>?winner will receive $1,000 to help defray travel expenses to ALA Annual;?the winning?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">chapter<\/span>?and?the runner up will each receive a certificate. Both will be recognized at the NMRT?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Student<\/span>?Reception at the 2017 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago, IL. The seven categories of?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Chapter<\/span>?of the?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Year<\/span>?Award criteria include:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Membership Engagement<\/li>\n<li>Programs<\/li>\n<li>Communications<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Financial Health<\/li>\n<li>Awards and Honors<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Chapter<\/span>?Advisor Statement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All ALA?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Chapters<\/span>?in good standing are eligible to receive the ALA?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Chapter<\/span>?of the?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">Year<\/span>?Award. There is no limit on the number of times a?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">student<\/span>?<span class=\"m_4730874949948782000gmail-il\">chapter<\/span>?may win the award.
