I monitor funds spent and encumbered to ensure that the NMRT budget is followed. Finally, I participate in the ALA Planning and Budget Assembly (PBA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How long have you been an NMRT member?<\/strong> Since August 2008<\/p>\n<p><strong>What?s your favorite thing about NMRT?<\/strong> The opportunity to serve in a leadership role with new librarians as everyone gets the chance to be on a committee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to someone just joining NMRT this year?<\/strong> First, be open to considering nontraditional information agencies in your job search. There are many more opportunities to be had when allowing for a variety of workplace settings.
