Are you looking for a way to be more involved in the library profession? Being an ALA-NMRT Liaison is a good opportunity if you are an NMRT member and a member of another library section, roundtable, division, or organization. NMRT liaisons play a key role in increasing awareness of information and ideas of mutual interest to NMRT and liaison unit members with a minimal time commitment. A liaison communicates NMRT interests held in common with other groups and advises NMRT on activities and issues of other units relevant to NMRT.<\/p>\n
We are just beginning recruitment for the 2017-2018 term, so if you see your organization on the list below, please consider volunteering! You can volunteer for more than one and will be assigned to no more than three units. Your assignment will be for one year. Conference attendance is not required (see note for ALA Legislative Assembly).
